Rachel is a licensed secondary English teacher with undergraduate degrees in English and Social Studies and a masters degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Racially Conscious Schools and Systems Leadership Graduate Certificate at Minnesota State University Mankato as work toward a Doctorate in Education.
 
Rachel is a former public relations and communications professional with years spent navigating Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and nonprofits across the country. She has more than two decades of experience teaching, writing, and editing for the classroom and the world of education.
