Rachel is a former public relations and communications professional with years spent navigating the nonprofit world and Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. She taught high school English in Baltimore for five years before spending the last two decades writing and editing materials for classrooms across the country.

Rachel is a licensed secondary English teacher with Bachelors of Arts degrees in English and Social Studies and a Masters of Arts degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education.
