I'm Rachel, a former public relations and communications professional with years spent navigating the nonprofit world and Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. I transitioned to life as a high school English teacher in Baltimore before spending the last two decades writing and editing materials for classrooms across the country. I'm also an elected member of my local school board and a life-long advocate for public education.

I am a licensed secondary English teacher with Bachelors of Arts degrees in English and Social Studies. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, and I am currently working toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
