Rachel cut her journalistic teeth in the basement office of her college newspaper. She began her professional career in the nonprofit and government sectors, drafting official communication to the President of the United States, Members of Congress, and others. She then followed her life's passion and became a high school English teacher.

Now, she's marrying those two words by writing, editing, and creating exclusively for the world of education. She has written and edited textbooks, teachers' guides, lesson plans, and just about everything in between. She has developed curriculum and standardized tests, adapting to ever-changing state standards. Rachel is forever a teacher at heart, and is thrilled to do work that impacts students and their learning every day.
