Rachel began her writing career in the basement office of her college newspaper. She wrote in the nonprofit and government sectors, drafting official communication to the President of the United States and Members of Congress. She then took over the family business and became a high school English teacher.

​​

Now, she's combining those two words by writing, editing, and creating exclusively for Language Arts and Social Studies classrooms. She has written and edited textbooks, teachers' guides, lesson plans, and everything in between. She has developed curriculum and standardized tests, adapting to ever-changing standards in dozens of states. Rachel is forever a teacher at heart, and is thrilled to do work that impacts students and their learning every day.
